Your appointment is your time to find the dress of your dreams. Our couture dressmaker and stylist will be with you every step of the way to ensure that you find what you're looking for. We spend one on one time with you to advise and assist you with every aspect of your wedding outfit. If you're unsure what you're looking for, feel free to pop into store to browse the dresses before booking an appointment. This special time is often very enjoyable but here are some tips to keep the stress levels at a minimum.
Your appointment will usually last around an hour and will be entirely devoted to finding your perfect outfit. As we do not always stock a size range of all dresses, our stylists may pin the dress in order for you to get a better feel of how it will fit. To complete your look, we can also advise on veils, shoes and jewellery.
The most important thing to bring is an open mind. Choosing the perfect gown is a special time and is best shared with a couple of guests whose opinion you trust. It may be tempting to bring more guests but too many opinions will be confusing for you and make it more difficult for us to give you our experienced advice. As you’ll be slipping in and out of dresses it’s important to wear underwear that you are comfortable being seen in, preferably in a light coloured or nude fabric and a well-fitting bra that gives you the shape you like, strapless if you have one. If you happen to have your shoes already, do bring them along so we can get the length of the dress spot on.
Saturday appointments is our most popular day; We try our best to give you our soonest appointment so if you know you cannot come, please let us know at least 48 hours beforehand so we can offer your place to someone else. Be aware that you may have to wait several weeks for another Saturday appointment.
If you fall in love with any of our dresses you can secure your order with a 50% deposit. Please allow 4 to 6 months for your order to be completed. It is always best to place your order in plenty of time as rush orders may attract extra expense and can be more stressful for you.
